Watching traditional Balinese dances at Batubulan Village. Batubulan, taken from the words ‘Batu’ and ‘Bulan’, which means ‘moon’ and ‘stone’, has been famous in Indonesia and all over the world for its spectacular Balinese dance performances of ‘Barong’, ‘Lenong’ and ‘Kecak Dance’. ‘Barong’ is a traditional story telling dance, caring our mythology. It demonstrates a story of fight between good and evil. You can watch ‘Barong’ from approximately 9AM, every day, on five different stages. ‘Kecak’ is performed every day from 8PM. I’ve been watching the performances at ‘Sahadewa’ stage.
