📍 Pura Ulun Danu Bratan, Bali

Founded in 17th century and situated along the banks of ‘Lake Bratan’ which is the second largest lake on Bali, the famous temple ‘Pura Ulun Danu Bratan’ is devoted to the Hindu gods ‘Brahma’, ‘Vishnu’ and ‘Shiva’. Balinese goodness of lakes, water and rivers named ‘Dewi Danu’, is also worshipped in this water temple, which is actually half Hindu and half Buddhist. It’s a large area with several temples. You may need some time to visit the whole complex.
