One of the most popular beaches at Nusa Penida is ‘Crystal Bay Beach’ – for sure, it’s an parasitically beautiful place. Besides its beautiful palm-fringed beach, the bay is known as famous snorkelling and dive spot. The bay itself offers a sandy area in the middle and stunning coral reefs on its fringes. The sandy area features good aquatic life such as turtles nudibranchs crabs, shrimps, cuttlefish and leopard sharks. Particularly, Crystal Bay is one of the only places in the world to observe the funny looking mola-mola oceanic sunfish! Further, it’s a good place to snorkel or dive with eagle or manta rays and may you see Nemo too! But this dive site is for advanced divers only cause the current can be quite strong! …So may you better prefer to snorkel. Mostly, boats stay at bay till 2PM, then divers and snorkelers leave litte by little. You won’t by your own at this beach, but it’s never crowded, so you can definitely enjoy this little piece of paradise in a calm atmosphere.

To me, it’s the nicest thing to lay at beach, watching blue sky cross the palm trees and listening to the sound of waves.
