If you’re going to visit main town of Krk and you would like to connect this with some time at beach I can recommend you the Beach “Porporela”, (as on picture) which is located just few minutes by feet away from old town. It’s a flat sloping mix of sandy, shingle and rocky beach, with a nice beach bar and possibilities for parking. Lots of families stay here. ‘Cause it’s that close to city center and during the season, could be very crowded. But for few hours it’s fine.

Another beautiful beach is for sure “Vela Luka” at “Baška”. A two kilometer long beach, located in a bay. Or Beach “Oprna”, which is a remote one but suppose to be be the most beautiful one – pretty idyllic! It’s also located at “Baška”, in a bay. Krk is rich of beaches and for sure many of them are pretty nice. Guaranteed – water is clean and crystal clear everywhere. So have a visit, form your own opinion and find your favorite my friends.
